Helping bring a once-in-a-lifetime park to the world
The Dos Laredo's International Park is an incredible opportunity to engage the culture of two nations. It is also an extraordinary challenge with many parts and stages. At GoArchitect, we hope to be part of this journey and bring our talents in design, technology, and community innovation to the service of the Park's vision.
— Exclusively for: Binational Working Group
Welcome,
My name is Josh Sanabria. I'm the CEO of GoArchitect and I'm very excited to bring this proposal to the Binational Working Group. Instead of creating a formal slides deck, I've decided to record a simple video that will allow me to speak more fluidly and share what I see as the short and long-term paths for working together. I appreciate your time and consideration.
The "Now" Needs
As I outlined in the video, I see the following items as immediate projects GoArchitect can lead to help form a strong foundation for the park.
Create an engaging brand for the park that is flexible and adaptable to future developments and even the final name of the park.
Create a website where the Binational Working Group can share updates to the general public.
Use this website to start gathering support for the park through an email list.
Create a simple social media presence that can share updates and generally lead people to the website.
The "Later" Needs
As we move into future stages of the project, we can capitalize on our momentum to reach the global community in new ways.
Use the website as the home for fundraising campaigns of all levels. This can be simple engagement items like branded shirts all the way to presenting data around formal fundraising.
Use social media and email list to engage with fans and supporters of the project. Mobilize this group to vocalize their support for the park on local, state, and even federal levels.
Explore out-of-the-box methods for fundraising from a global audience. GoArchitect is currently exploring a dynamic way to use NFTs and other modern finance tools for the benefit of public projects.
The Long-Term Needs
We know that the park will work in stages and our goal will be to continually innovate.
Transition the website and other online tools to community sustainability. This can be things like keeping the public informed of events or milestones, building a strong basis of donors, and engaging with communities on both sides of the border.
Showcase the positive social, economic, and ecological benefits of the park.
Closing
I appreciate the time you've taken to watch the video and read the outline. I recognize that this is a broad overview but I hope it sparks conversation and consideration.
